SGCH Willow Run Nostra Sumatra 3*M

2005 DHIA: 2-10: 275 days in milk:  2390 lbs, 86 lbs fat, 72 lbs protein 

Description:  Sumatra is a beautiful tan doe who resembles her dam in many respects. Her dam, SGCH Willow Run GC Surata 2*M, is the 2003 & 2004 ADGA National Champion. Sumatra is smooth, level across the topline and has a superb udder. She has a nice long, wide and flat rump. She has been a strong brood doe within our herd, being the dam of our Senior Herd Sire, *B Heart Mt Carter Kids Sudan (VG87) and of Heart Mt Carter Kids Sierra, 11th place Milking Yearling at the 2007 Nationals. Together, Sumatra and Sierra were 6th place Dam & Daughter at Nationals. Sumatra is helping to shape my herd with its own style.

CH Becca's Tweed Nuisance

DOB: 2-21-03

Description:  Nuisance is a sharp, clean and angular doe with a lot of length of body and levelness over the back. She has a long, lean neck, with good openness of ribbing, flatness of bone and angularity. Her mammary is very well attached with height and width in the rear, near ideal teat placement and size, a good medial and smoothly blended fore udder. Nuisance easily finished her championship as a two year-old and was also 1st place Two Year-Old at the 2005 ADGA National Show. At the 2006 National Show she was 2nd place Three Year-Old. Nuisance decided to take the 2007 year and did not freshen, but we are excited about getting her back into the show string for 2008.

CH Becca's Medicine Aruba

DOB: 3-21-03

Description: Aruba is a very dairy, yet powerful doe. She shows upstandingness in the front end with height in the withers, levelness across the back, strong feet and legs and good angularity. She also has a correct mammary with a long, smoothly blended fore udder, height in the rear and a strong medial suspensory ligament. At the 2005 ADGA National Show she was 6th place Two Year-Old and in 2006 she was 4th place Three Year-Old. She is a paternal sister to SGCH One Oak Hill Medicine Tuzla, the 2002 ADGA National Champion. Aruba didn’t breed in 2007, but we are anxious for her to freshen for the 2008 show season!

SGCH Heart-Mt.-Carter-Kids Chula 2*M

2005 DHIA: 1-00: 252 days in milk:  1840 lbs, 77 lbs fat, 58 lbs protein 

Description:  Chula is a long, tall, level and sharp doe with tremendous power and depth. Her mammary system is one of the best that I have bred with height and width in the rear udder and a very smooth and well extended fore udder, nice teat placement and size. Chula is a very balanced doe that seems to be passing her positive traits onto her kids! Chula is the dam of CH Heart-Mt.-Carter-Kids ChitChat, 3rd pl./2nd Udder Two Year-Old at the 2007 National Show, Heart-Mt.-Carter-Kids Cholena, 14th place Junior Kid. Another daughter, Heart-Mt.-Carter-Kids ChaCha, was the 2007 AGS Junior National Champion.

Becca's MJ Hottie 1*M

DOB: 4-05

Description:  Hottie jumped right into our herd and has been content ever since. She is strong in dairy character by being angular throughout with flatness of bone, openness and has a tremendous will to milk. Hottie excels in capacity to her mammary system and exhibits a nice high, arched rear udder with good udder support and a well defined medial. She was 5th place Three Year-Old at the 2007 National Show. We thank Becca's LaManchas for entrusting us with her.

CH Heart-Mt.-Carter-Kids ChitChat

DOB: 3-24-05

Description:  ChitChat is an impressive doe with style throughout. She excels in general appearance being long, tall and upstanding in the front end with levelness from hips to pins and from thurl to thurl. ChitChat also has correct rear leg set with good angulation. Her mammary system is well attached with exceptional length to the fore udder, height and width of rear udder, correct teat placement and strength of udder support. ChitChat was 3rd place Two Year-Old with 2nd place Udder at the 2007 National Show as a first freshener.

SG Heart-Mt.-Carter-Kids Nikki 3*M

DOB: 3-2-05

Description:  Nikki exudes dairy character from her sharp, angular profile and length of neck, to her soft, pliable skin. Her mammary system has the balance of attachments and capacity for her age, combined with width of rear udder, smoothness in the fore and nice udder texture. Nikki demands attention in the show ring with her correctness in general appearance and the elegance in which she travels about the ring. She is the type of doe that I have been trying to breed for in the last 25 years!  Nikki was 1st place Milking Yearling in 2006 and 2nd place Two Year-Old at the 2007 National Show.

Heart-Mt.-Carter-Kids Sasha

DOB: 2-7-06

Description:  Sasha looks like the odd ball in the herd since she is totally black! That is a rarity in my herd. She has a long, lean neck which is smoothly blended into her withers and shoulders. Sasha excels in general appearance being strong over her back with good rear leg set, angulation and strength of feet and legs. She has really good texture to her mammary system with a wide rear udder and nice teat size. Sasha also has a great personality as well!

Heart-Mt.-Carter-Kids Sierra

DOB: 3-23-06

Description:  Sierra is a beautiful yearling who has done a lot of growing and maturing over the past year. She is strong in the mammary system with lots of area of attachment, a very wide rear udder that fits nicely into her escutcheon and an extremely long, smooth fore udder. She is strong in general appearance by having a long, wide rump that is level from thurl to thurl. Sierra is very dairy as well, combined with power and strength throughout. I am very pleased with her development over this past year as a milking yearling and am looking forward to watching her continue to mature.

Becca's Tuscan Sunrise

DOB: 4-06

Description:  When Sunrise came to us, she was recovering from mastitis which prevented her from being able to be shown this year. We dried her off early and are looking forward to next spring. She is strong in general appearance, being a long bodied doe with a lot of width throughout. She is showing a strong mammary with good height to the rear udder and smoothness of blending. We feel that she has a tremendous amount of potential for our herd and can't wait to see her in 2008!

Description:  Ms Emma has always been Megan's favorite of this years kid crop. She is strong in dairy character by having the correct angle to the rear rib and she has wonderful pliable skin. She also has a personality that you can't ignore!

Otarion Tupelo Tanisha

DOB: 2-07

Description:  Tanisha is just breathtaking! She has the balance, length and attitude that we like to see. We would like to thank Eileen Hahn for entrusting us with her. We bought Tanisha's dam bred and have been very pleased. Tanisha is strong in general appearance with her long, wide rump and is extremely level over the topline. She earned her dry leg at her first show of the season, where she was also Best Junior Doe In Show.

Description:  Madison has gone through some awkward growth stages since she came to us. But, she is now putting it all together and is looking really stylish. She is strong in general appearance by having the correct arch to the rear legs and she has a smooth front end. Madison ending the show season by winning Reserve Champion to herdmate, Attitude.
